Healthcare, Inc's fire station health centers will provide compassionate and affordable care to its customers. In the future, we will offer the following treatments:
- Wound Care
- Treatments of common illness like the flu or strep throat
- Blood Pressure Checks
- Routine lab tests
- Sports Physicals
- Disease Management
- Occupational Health
Because our fire station health centers are a public-private partnership with the D.C. government, the savings of no rent for office space gets passed onto our customers. Thus, our prices will be competitive with other urgent care centers, if not lower. In addition, our urgent care centers will be linked directly into the 911 call center, allowing operators to divert avoidable emergency room visits to our centers.
Every staff member in a fire station health center will be hired from the city itself. We seek talented individuals who have lived in D.C. and know its communities, in order to provide our customers with the most compassionate and affordable care possible. Each fire station health center will have between 4 and 7 staff members.
- Licensed nurse practitioners
- Physician assistants
- Office manager
A unique element of our fire station health centers is that staff can move from center to center depending on need. Thus, if one health center becomes crowded physician assistants will be deployed to alleviate wait times.
